How Far I Have Come

Some come like waterfalls rushing over dizzying heights.
Some come like restless warriors ravenous & ravishing.
Some come slow and sweet, making me swiftly succumb.
Some come spreading up from my toes tingling, trapping me in a tantalizing web.
They all come at your calling; your body speaks to mine & I find myself falling.

Some come like heat waves crashing into me, soaking me in sweat.
Some come like languid liquid leaking into every crease.
Some come shaking & quaking, shattering senses.
Some come like gentle breezes that whisper me away on whimsical winds.
They all come at your calling; your body speaks to mine & I find myself falling.

Some come like fiery comets fiercely searing a sensual trail.
Some come like the slow spread of flame untamed, licking every limb.
Some come like lightning bolts, electrifying my senses with your volts.
Some come with the roar and roll of waves on the shore, sweeping me out to a sea of tranquility.
They all come at your calling; your body speaks to mine & I find myself falling.

Some come like consuming fevered flushes that leave me gleaming in sweat.
Some come instantaneously intense like scintillating sparks streaked across my soul.
Some come like bursting blossoms of morning glories under beams of the sun.
Some come fluttering like hovering hummingbirds hunting for honeyed nectar.
They all come at your calling; your body speaks to mine & I find myself falling.
